I agree with those posters who say the staff is rude. We had an issue with the phones and it was not pleasant dealing with them. But the Inn itself was a great value for the money, especially if you are on a lower floor. No other complaints about the room. Nice views if you are high enough up. There... more

DO NOT STAY HERE. Here are the reasons why this place is absolutely horrible: 1) My perfume was stolen out of my room (I assume by housekeeping) and management would not do anything about it. They simply said "our housekeeper wouldn't do that". The female owner was extremely defensive and rude. No refund, no apology, no customer service whatsoever. 2)... more

Superb experience. We made a 3-day trip up, stayed friday and saturday night. We were in room 301 with the whirlpool tubs. The room was in great condition. Good amount of space for our snow gear, and a heater on a side wall panel that was convenient to dry off our snow gear overnight. Bed was one of the most... more

I have to echo the earlier reviewer who was mystified by the negative reviews of this place. Our experience was a good one from beginning to end. Our room was very clean and nicely furnished with a large TV, microwave, small fridge, and very comfy Sleep Number bed. The view was spectacular and, yes, there was a huge jacuzzi tub... more

This hotel claims to give you in room jacuzzi's - we had a very small shower- the rooms are very overpriced for the size - the management is rude - they double book rooms and keep the extra money - their customer policies are designed to do one thing and that is to get as much money as possible from... more

The negative reviews posted here have me somewhat mystified. This hotel is an excellent choice given the rates and the location. If you're looking for a clean, large-ish, modern hotel room for a reasonable rate, in a quaint town on Lake Tahoe with every amenity within three blocks, all of which is a half hour from world class skiing, than... more

Booked a room on bottom floor near check-in office. It was small and was decorated in 70s decor. Attention everyone: there is NO air conditioning at this hotel! The front desk told me none of the hotels in the area have air conditioning, but I seriously doubt that. I was born on Monday, but NOT Monday of last week. Anyway,... more

Great hotel, decent price, central location. The hotel was walking distance to everything in this small town. 1 block from the lake. Very clean room and the hotel is well maintained. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. more

Okay, beginning of April is the end of the skiing season. Should it be end customer friendly service season too? Staff was very unresponsive and clearly ready to cash a few last travelers before summer and then close down the place for summer. The computer system was very old and constantly down leading into double-charging and preventing to get any... more

I was attending a wedding in Tahoe, and this was one of the listed recommended hotels. This hotel/inn was in a great location -- right on the main strip of tahoe city. Across the street is a great cafe and bike rental place, and lots of shopping all around on this main strip; a great greasy spoon is a block... more
