My family and I camp at Lake Skinner at least 2 times a year. I have read several bad reviews; we think the opposite. We read reviews before we went, maintained OK, most campers drank too much and got loud after the Sun went down. We found acess was easy, bathrooms were not all clean, we did not have to endup up using thier showers , but it was good to know they were there. more

The area is clean , Lots of grass, lots of ants. Rules in rule book are a joke . We were told we could not have a small plastic pool. it was not in the rule book , No way to get cash at store. Pool is large but the charge 2$ per person. small kids not allowed safety items... more

This was our first stay at Lake Skinner. We are frequent RV users, and have camped all over the US. We were there for a family reunion at a near-by winnery, owned by a cousin. We had a great corner site. It was private and quiet. We were able to walk down the hill to the lake and there were several private lake areas. They did have somekind of a bathroom problem, they had added several porta potties, they were clean and well kept. Over all we had a great time, and look forward to... more

This was our first time for camping at Lake Skinner and the surroundings were nice but disappointed with size of camp site and had to share (1) restroom with (3) toilets (one broken and one with no toilet seat) with approximately 600+ campers.
