After dark everybody had a radio and felt the need to turn it up so the rest of the campground could hear it. I don't have a problem with this except it was still going on after midnight. I got no sleep. I was hoping the campground host would enforce a "quiet time" after 10pm but this didn't happen. It... more

My family and I camp at Lake Skinner at least 2 times a year. I have read several bad reviews; we think the opposite. Its a beautiful open area with panoramic view of the hills and a crystal clear lake to enjoy fishing and many other activities. It also has wonderful paly ground areas for the kids to enjoy. Yes... more

We read reviews before we went, maintained OK, most campers drank too much and got loud after the Sun went down. We found acess was easy, bathrooms were not all clean, we did not have to endup up using thier showers , but it was good to know they were there. more

Since this review, the County Regional Parks and Open Space District has invested more than $250,000 in improvements throughout the park that has allowed us to make several renovations to the restroom facilities; including the addition of new fixtures, plumbing, partitions and waterless urinals in the men’s restrooms. We will be continuing our improvement of the Lake Skinner Recreation Area...

This was our first stay at Lake Skinner. We are frequent RV users, and have camped all over the US. We were there for a family reunion at a near-by winnery, owned by a cousin. There were 5 RV's in our party, and all of us had reservations. The 1st nite, most of us returned to our campsite about 9:30.... more

We had a great corner site. It was private and quiet. We were able to walk down the hill to the lake and there were several private lake areas. They did have somekind of a bathroom problem, they had added several porta potties, they were clean and well kept. Over all we had a great time, and look forward to... more

This was unsanitary and we were shocked the county would even allow this. The restroom had (2)... more
