We have stayed and eaten at the Sorn Inn many times and have to say that it's a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The food is 5*. Stayed here the other week, really friendly welcome and staff were very helpful during my stay. Had one of the best ever steaks and was just disappointed that I could not dine here both nights. Porridge with Drambuie glaze is a must for breakfast. Would certainly come back here. Nice village too!

Yet again superbly clean rooms, friendly staff and the best meal we have had this year.it really is a gem of a find. I would highly recommend a visit to anybody visiting Scotland. The steaks cannot be surpast and Craigs porridge is not to be missed. The Catering magazine calls it a hidden gem and it is. The location is... More

Superb Food cooked to order. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Wish I could eat there more regularly! It's a little out of the way for some but the location leads to a drive through some stunning scenery to get there. As a family we covered most areas of the menu and we were all delighted with our meals... More

To end the festive period on a high I took my family last week for Sunday lunch at the Sorn Inn. Although the menu was traditional it also had some more adventurous elements for those willing to try what is obviously a very talented chef's signature dishes. The service was excellent and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly in the restaurant.... More

I have just had the pleasure of another first class meal on Boxing Day. The chef, Craig Grant, cooked a bespoke shellfish meal for five of us. This man`s talents are a "must" to be experienced. The standard of service and attention to detail was exceptional. This establishment has to be sampled.

A group of 5 of us arrived early evening to be met by the owner. Very jovial and welcoming. Checked in & shown our rooms/suites then to the small but cosy bar for per dinner drinks, olives, breads and oils. We were given bar & restaurant menus and choice of eating in the bar, chop house or main restaurant. Food was... More
