I travel several days per week on business throughout northern California. This hotel is pretty good. My room was nice and quiet (although the hotel was not very full) and pretty clean. The Inn at Truckee was a disappointment all around. The lobby and rooms were of the quality of a Motel 6. The furnishings were spartan at best, very outdated and of cheap quality. There was no closet, just a clothes rack in the room, with the ironing board and iron hanging next to it - no ambience to speak of.... more

We stayed there for 3 days last week. We took the "no elevator" $59/night special...which means you merely need to take stairs to your room on the 3rd floor, which was no issue whatsoever. The room was clean and comfortable. Great value for the money. Every other motel that we researched in Truckee was over $100/night. more

We found the Inn At Truckee through an article on hiking with your dogs in VIA Magazine. All sizes of dogs are welcome (& that can be hard to find).
