All in all, the Best Western Truckee Tahoe Inn makes for a very pleasant stay when skiing North Tahoe. The rooms are spacious, clean and contain a small frig and microwave. The staff is very welcoming and graciously handled all questions and requests. The breakfast is much more complete than most three star hotels with omelettes, bacon, etc. Carmen does... more

I had booked 2 nights online meaning to cancel 1 night if our plans changed. I had forgotten to change the reservation after we decided to make a 1 night trip. Upon on arrival we were informed by the manager that we were marked as a "no show." I was certain there was an error and asked to access my... more

No complaints about the room or the hotel setting. The hotel is in a nice, safe area. Our room was clean and presentable. We didn't use the pool so can't comment on that. But, a couple of things stood out. We found a brochure sitting on the table in our room that would probably have been easily glanced over but... more

We booked this hotel on a whim because of the fires in Yosemite. We didn't want to lose out on a mountain vacation so we kept driving north until we hit Truckee. I was pleased by the staff, room, pool area and the hot breakfast included with the reasonable room rates. The beds were comfortable and well as the pillows,... more

Last week our family of four was on our way to Lake Tahoe from the Sacramento airport when an enormous dump of snow closed the route (49 or 50, I think). Rather than wait for the road to reopen in the wee hours of the morning (if at all) we backtracked to Route 80 and took that for a while... more

We recently stayed at the Best Western Truckee Tahoe Inn, and would recommend it to anyone staying in the Truckee/Tahoe area. We got to the hotel a little bit before check-in. But they let us have our lunch in the breakfast room while we waited. The rooms were very clean, and had nice little touches that you wouldn't expect from... more

Room with breakfast included can be had for about $90 using the Snowbomb Tahoe Card for a non-weekend stay. The rooms are what you'd expect from a Best Western: clean, run-of-the-mill hotel room. They do have a hot tub on-site. The location is good for access to most all of the North Tahoe ski resorts. There is a computer near... more

I’ve stayed at this hotel 3 times now and us it as a jumping off point for summer activities. No complaints here every time that I’ve stayed the rooms have always been clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning is very good and makes for great start. The staff has been very helpful and friendly on every visit. Overall... more

We stayed here while teaching a workshop at the hotel. The meeting room was on the second floor with no elevators. Luckily we had nobody attending in a wheelchair, although a couple of people had to navigate the stairs very slowly. There were no public bathrooms on the second floor, only downstairs in the restaurant. They gave us a key... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for skiing about a month ago. Upon check-in we were told that we were going to be put in a room on a first floor because it was the only one left available for the type of room we booked (1 King). We didn't like the first floor, but we thought, well... more
