We stayed here for two nights in June. This B&B is not located in the "town" of Twain Harte; it's about a 5-minute drive. It is off the highway that leads to Sonora Pass. There is a tree barrier and a service road between the house and the highway, so you don't really see or hear any traffic noise.

McCaffrey House is quite a nice place to stay, and one of the cleanest I've seen. They offer discounts through their website, which makes a stay there a good deal. During our visit, there were only a few others staying at McCaffrey House.
