My sister and I recently stayed at Discovery Inn. We could not have been more pleased. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. This place was a horrible traveling experience. At my arrival, I was barely greeted by a young staff member who had a less than helpful tone. My kids loved the pool and the 4 hot tubs that were all different temperatures. I didn't like that the hot tubs were separate from the pool, but I still enjoyed using them. Breakfast was decent - cereals, muffins, coffee and tea. And there's a Raley's supermarket right across the street. I would stay here again. more

We always stay here after picking our kids up from camp in Laytonville. We love it - the massive hot tubs with waterfall, the pools, the funky diner restaurant that's attached. It's become an annual tradition for us. The redwood sculpture garden is a hoot. We love this place. more
