Have stayed here several times over the years. Very charming, spacious rooms (especially the sweets), beautiful deco design, staff is friendly, perfect location. Unfortunately the hotel really needs an update...tons of stains on the carpet, furniture and paint are really scratched up, in hallways and rooms....Hotel management - if you are reading this please fix up the hotel...its a shame... Stayed here January of 2012 for business and had a wonderful time. Request a room on the 11th floor to avoid elevator noise on the 14th floor, (there is no 13th floor). Great view of Los Angeles.
