I have stayed in hotels all over the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. I have stayed at this hotel several times. The rooms are ok. They are not too small. Some of the beds are comfortable. It always seems to take a while before I can check in. They might be understaffed. The guests at this hotel can be... more

I was in town for 4 days (8/21-25) to visit my daughters and grandson (their place is nearby, but too small to stay at). After an unpleasant 2-day stay in Dec. 2008 (loud partying at the bar, the hotel had to shut off the water the day we checked out, and the front desk person was rude), I swore I'd... more

The hotel was once probably a great hotel, but today it is no better than a Motel 6 with a run down exterior, overly used rooms with outdated televisions, furniture and bathrooms. The free internet service is hit or miss. more

At first everything looked ok, except for towels in the bathroom were all dirty. Friday night they had a salsa dancing at the pool area so we could not sleep until 10 pm because of the noise. Sunday pm they decided to have a pool party so we could not even stay in a room because of terrible terrible noise... more

The hotel is showing its age but I believe that there is work in progress. Staff were great and location was really good. No problems here. Fairly busy with a mix of tourists and business people which is agood indicator I think. Room service steak for 2 should have been steak for 4 ,well cooked but to big for us. more

We opted to stay at this hotel after a relative told us it was only a few minutes away from their house. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of all the little shops. We were there literally there just to sleep we arrived around 11pm.... the hotel lobby was a little noisy full of people trying to get... more

You can't beat the amazing location of Greenleaf Ave. The only problem with the hotel are the students (who occupy some of the rooms) and the Motel 6 like shower that suddenly 'scalds' you with hot water (will they ever improve this). Also, the sheets are not fitted, but have that usual stupid little pad that slides around a lot.... more

The hotel is totally nice. Very clean, nice rooms, pretty pool, easy location to everything in Uptown Whittier. But there is no possible way to emphasize what a major problem the on-site nightclub is, which is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. The club is clearly not patronized by hotel guests, but locals. That's fine of course, but there seems... more

Nothing fancy, a solid hotel. Very nice, clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit dated but they've done a nice job keeping it up. The sleep number bed is nice to play with. Channels on TV a bit limited. I didn't really pick this hotel. It was selected by Priceline and it worked out great. Free... more

This is the second time we've stayed in this hotel while visiting Los Angeles. We initially chose it because it was close to relatives, but I'm glad we came across it. The staff is very accomodating. Upon check in, we chose a first floor room with no view, but after checking it out, we called the front desk to ask... more
