I just got back from a wedding weekend at Wilbur Hot Springs and had an amazing time! The place was rustic and magical, and was a great place to hold a wedding weekend. We rented out the entire place, and used the communal kitchen to cook our meals. Late night dips in the hot springs were incredible, and mid-afternoon yoga.... more

I disagree with a lot of the negative reviews. Many of these types of clothing optional hot springs ARE pricey, but keep in mind you aren't paying 175 for just the room, you are paying for the room and the use of the pools (which are open 24 hours). I usually go off season and pay closer to 140 for... more

I was skeptical going to this place: I have to bring my own towels, robe and food? Once there, I relaxed and enjoyed the communal spirit, especially the kitchen. The other guests were very friendly but also respectful of privacy and solitude. The place is rustic and simple in a good way. It's kind of like camping but with a... more

There is something about Wilbur. And I am biased because my husband and I chose this place for our wedding weekend. I have read the other reviews and agree with some and vehemently disagree with others. I will share what we wrote to our guests, because the key to appreciating Wilbur is to know what it is all about. our... more

what a mixed bag this place is! Truly in all my years as a hot springs fanatic all over California, i've never found waters more amazing. The high concentration of sulfur and minerals leaves the skin and temperment absolutely soft and blissful. I dream of their flumes of hot water when I'm not there. And even the area where you... more

Beautiful scenery...lovely baths...but was surprised by the lack of amenties for the price-tag. The rooms simply aren't worth the $198.00 we paid to stay in a room with a double bed instead of the queen we had booked. The bed was terrible and the only showers are across the driveway next to the baths. The kitchen was nice and the... more

Yes, the waters are as advertised. A dark green and even the coolest of the warm tubs will warm your bones. Very little odor. The outdoor showers are discreet and nice. But at a pretty heflty price. $170 a night? Mercy You'd think you would get turn down service for that, with a mint on the pillow. No—just a double... more

I'd never been to a clothing optional spa before, but had heard so many great things about this place I knew I had to give it a go. I was not disappointed. From the moment I arrived, I knew this was a safe, relaxing, and rejuvinating place. The staff is friendly, the grounds are beautiful, the rooms are charming, and... more
