This place is a bit dated. I was a little concerned that there was no peephole in the door for security. We had a non-smoking room, yet there was a huge ashtray just outside our door, inviting smokers to stand right there and smoke, which they did. It must be known as a party hotel since there was a huge... more
Room was clean enough but drab as another traveler mentioned. Had to have police called out to stop the local teens from partying in the movie theater parking lot next door. Street noise was also bad as this motel is on main drag of town. Staff were okay but not very friendly. Would not stay here again since Best Western... more
This place is a dump. Can only get out of bed on one side. Sheets worn and not fitted. Room smelled musty. Whirlpool tub not clean enough. Not enough towels or soap. Breakfast, forget it. And on and on.... I was offered a discount of about 15% but still is was worst hotel ever, even for free. more
Spent two days recently in the high desert and stayed at this hotel because it had the best reviews. The hotel was clean but the furnishings and room itself are drab and depressing. We live in the low desert and have gone here for a quick getaway. We have stayed in several of the rooms, The Roman, Persian, and the Plantation Room (our favorite). We stayed in yucca Valley in june for one night. The room was nice, the pool site was great. The staff was very friendly and the price was reasonable. Breakfast was ok. I would defintily stay there again. more
Alright, if you stay in a standard (typical) room at this dump, like we did, don't expect much... the flourescent pink color throughout the room was just lovely, as was the disgusting carpet. The bed needed to be replaced as well. I would not stay here again. more
This was our second visit here, after staying at the Yucca Valley Super 8 a number of times. It's so much better--much more private & quiet, a way better pool area and a friendly staff. When I called to make a reservation for two nights, management was happy to honor the cheaper internet rate I found online. We got the... more
We booked the room after looking at the website. The rooms looked much better online than they do in person. For the price of the room nearing $200 I would expect a lot more. The room had a whirlpool tub in it which seemed really cool but the whole room smelled a bit moldy. The lighting was terrible. The room... more
