The previous two nights we stayed at the 8 month new Americ-Inn in Glenwood Springs for two nights and had a gorgeous three room suite with fireplace for $154 tax included. I want to mention that this Motel was just ok for the price, average and nothing from the other world. The only surprise we all had (4 people) was that we only spent one single night at room 120 and the next morning we found out that we were infested of CRABS all over our bodies, even the little nits... more
The claim that there are crabs or lice in one of our rooms is one that we definitely take seriously, especially since we have never had a complaint like this before. We spent two nights at the Aspenalt because we were in town for an event with friends. For us, this was a conveneint location. The motel (it is a motel, no more than that) is in two buildings in a parking lot in back of the main street of Basalt. One building is sort of near the Frying Pan River.... more
