The location of the facility is reasonable, recognizing its limitations – this is a largish building in the town of Avon and is not near the ski slopes or intended to be convenient to the slopes.... more

I would recommend this hotel, but only with serious reservations. We booked it assuming it was only a short shuttle ride to the slopes, but it was two separate shuttle rides so door-to-ski slope was about 30 minutes for us. We stayed for a weekend at the Sheraton Mountain Vista Resort and i was very surprised by the high quality of the rooms, excellent bathroom, well appointed kitchen and large amounts of space. Really liked the property and enjoyed our stay. The only real negative was if it starts to warm up.... they don't have A/C. I repeat they don't have AC. This was our first trip to Colorado and we just loved it. The hotel is actually in Avon, but Beaver Creek is very close. We had a two bedroom lock-off and let the kids stay on the studio side. They loved the free Wi-Fi though how they watch TV and do facebook at the same time I have no idea.... more

We were on the 6th floor and had a wonderful view. THe room was cozy and I slept on the pull out bed it was very confy!! One problem. Maid service was only on Tuesday! We stayed in the lake side terrace and the Mountain vista for a week. Service was excellent. Scenery beautiful. Lots to do close by. Lakeside terrace rooms could use some remodeling(mismatched cabinets,etc). The value was excellent regardless. more
