My Husband and I came out to Beaver Creek, Colorado from Austraila. After an incredibly long trip we arrived in Beautiful Beaver Creek. To get to Highlands Lodge, part of East West Resorts, you drive right to the top of the resort, you pass trees filled with hundreds of twinkling lights and the atmosphere is quite magical. The Highlands Lodge is located right at the top of the resort and is right on the mountain slopes, we were greeted at the Front Desk by a charming young lady, Jeanine, from South Africa who couldn't have been more welcoming and couldn't have done more for us. After such a long trip we were so grateful to be so well looked after and were able to go straight to our room and relax and not even worry about our bags as the bellman, also from South Africa took care of them for us. The accomodations were lovely, real mountainy feel and warm and comfortable, the full kitchen and washer and dryer included in the condo were a definite plus too.
