Lovely little motel right next to Boulder Creek. Knotty pine walls and individual heaters. No air conditioning, but we didn't need it during our stay. The staff is very friendly, and they offer coffee, fruit and danishes in the morning at the office. An extremely pleasant place to stay. more

I stayed here one night. The front desk staff was friendly, and the location was quiet and secluded, adjacent to the Boulder bicycle path. It's a rustic lodge-style structure that lends itself to the ambiance of the mountains. more

Boulder is an expensive place to stay, and Foot of the Mountain is refreshingly economical (we paid $90 a night). If you want fancy, this isn't the place, but my family loved it here. The motel is right across the street from a public park through which Boulder Creek runs.
