We stayed here for several nights in August while getting our son situated at CU. We loved our stay! The staff could not have been friendlier--oftentimes, someone is situated at the door and greets you with a smile when you are coming back. They distributed free bottled waters to help the new students and parents get acclimated to the altitude.... more

Very nice experience here, rooms great - not the best i've been in but clean, oversize room and good linens etc.The restaurant was very very quiet but we couldn't see why - very good food and wine at reasonable prices. The bar was staffed with very amiable staff, the restaurant guy was a bit OTT but better than sitting and... more

I can't say that I have stayed at the Boulder Marriott, but I can give you some potentially useful information. It is summarized in the letter I sent Marriott management after being denied a room we had booked. To cut to the chase, the manager sent me an email apologizing that we were bumped, but indicated the employees had done... more

I had been very confused by all the Tripadvisor reviews before we went so I decided to wait until we got to Boulder to find a room. After driving by a few of the area's motels, which, frankly, looked pretty tacky, we went into the Marriot. Am I happy that we did! They gave us the Internet rate for a... more

I would have to say we had a very positive experience. We were on the conceirge level(4th) floor. There was a breakfast bar available every morning with fresh fruit, meats, cheese, cereal, granola, juice, eggs, bagels, muffins, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed it and commented about how nice it was to not have to go out to breakfast as well. The... more

There is absolutely nothing special about this hotel. It smells musty, the staff is uncaring (although that is a Boulder issue, not necessarily the hotel), no real lobby, bathrooms are a slight improvement over a Motel 6, room service very sketchy. I cannot believe they are charging the same prices as the St. Julien. I guess that's why my travel... more

If you are expecting the "JW" name you will not find it here!! This property is run down at best and the staff I encountered was disgruntled and acted as if they were doing us a favor by putting us into the rooms and floors we had paid for. I wish I had something better to say as I booked... more

My husband and I stayed at the Marriott and it was our first trip to Boulder. We loved the location - close to shopping, the CU campus and the Creek Trail. We ran/walked every morning on the trail which is about 4 blocks away. Anything we needed - meals, groceries, running store, REI, was all close to the hotel and... more

This hotel is very well-located in Boulder, close to the university and good shopping. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Boulder is a very easy town to get around. Room was ok, but not very special for the price. Parking was a bit inconvenient if one wants to park for free (around back in the shopping center) but very manageable. more

I live in Denver and stayed here over the weekend. My room was very nice (I've stayed in some much fancier hotels and it was about as nice) -- really big desk for working, big window, really comfy bed and linens. I think the reviewer before me must have missed it, but there was a lounge where "concierge" guests could... more
