Service was friendly and accomodating - food was good but not great. Room (Tea Kettle Room) was described as "cozy" and it was quite small - almost too small - but clean and tidy. One night rate was a bit much for a room of that size. more

This is a wonderful B&B in a superb location. The service and food are excellent, the ambiance is charming, and the value is terrific. We spent three nights here over Memorial Day weekend and have already booked a return trip. All the other guests were as pleased as we were. Definitely a winner. more
The Briar Rose represents everything that's great about Boulder. It's crunchy, environmentally progressive, well-kept, and super-comfortable. The organic breakfast is great! I'll definitely stay again every time I'm in town. more
We recently stayed at the Briar Rose, and overall, it was fine. The staff could be a little slow to respond (esp. during breakfast) but always very polite and kind. Internet access is available via two computers near the lobby. The staff give you the WEP key for the wireless network when you check in (so you can get your... more
Great little B and B! It's very convenient to Pearl Street, and to the University. The breakfast was awesome! Tea service in the evening, with your choice of teas. We were really made to feel right at home. more
I was disappointed in my stay at the Briar Rose. The room I stayed in was small and needed updating. I booked for myself and my daughter and was not told that there was only one bed in the room. The breakfast was good, but the service needed improvement. We were never given an overview of what was available for... more

I recommend staying weekends as he prepares breakfast and he is quite the chef. One of the rooms I stayed was kind of small and could have used some... more
I've visited Boulder every year for the past seven years and have stayed at several different hotels and B&Bs. This summer I tried the Briar Rose for the first time, and I can say that it is by far the best of the bunch. The rooms are clean and charming and equipped with all the amenities you need, the meals... more
The experience was excellent. My wife and I stayed at the Briar Rose B&B for a 3-day weekend. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. The room price is comparable to hotels in the area, but with this B&B you get so much more than... more
Spectacular from the moment I arrived! The innkeeper Gary Hardin greeted me with a warm smile, and eyes that said I was welcome, and appreciated. The room was bright and cheery. Lots of pillows, and a large, very comfortable bed. I slept wonderfully both my nights there. There were large, beautifully scented bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body gel, and body... more
