its like beening at home come and go as you please help yourself to tea coffee and cakes.what ever you want the staff will help you with.we had a great laugh with the staff we even went for drinks with them and also skiing with them.we'd go back! more
Chalet Northstar is exclusively available through Crystal/Thompson Ski Holidays and is located 2 blocks off Main Street (and about 10 mins walk from the Peak 9 ski lifts) in Breckenridge, Colorado.
We'd never stayed in Chalet style accommodation before, and although Northstar was rated 4 star in the brochures we had no idea what to expect.
The Chalet is quite sizeable with 11 bedrooms in all and hosting around 20 or so guests. We were there for Christmas week and so it was full, but this gave a very convivial atmosphere and we enjoyed the company of the other guests.
I am certain that with any such holiday, a lot rides on the personality of your co-guests and the Chalet hosts. The 3 hosts for the 2008/2009 ski season (Ollie, Sarah and Rachel) are delightfully warm and friendly.
