We booked our spring vacation for three nights at the Village with Vail Resorts. When we arrived, there was no valet on duty to take our car. When we lugged our own bags up to the room, we discovered it dirty, dark, had burned out lightbulbs, plastic deck chairs, food stains on the floor, and an HVAC system that had... more

We stayed at the Chateux in the Village during the first week of March. The location is great. The kids ski school is about 100 feet away. We had a two bedroom and it was much roomier than we needed. You have to remember that it is a condo/timeshare type of rental, not a hotel, so you don't get as... more

I just returned from another week in Breckenridge. This year I moved up to the 1 bdr condo in Plaza III. The condo was great, gas fireplace nice town view and a nice balcony. The full kitchen was well stocked and the flat screen TV in the living room and TV in the bed room was fine. This was my... more

Stayed here during a midweek trip. All studios are individually owned so they can be very hit or miss. Mine was great with updated granite tile counters in the kitchen. Yes, the appliances are old, but who's going on vacation to cook themselves gourmet dinners? Full-size fridge is a plus for longer stays. Bathroom was nicely updated as well although... more

We booked this trip in November 2008 and after reading some of the reviews on this site, I was a bit worried that the place would be absolutely attrocious. We decided to keep our reservations though, and we are definitely very happy we did! The front desk staff was very accomodating, the location GREAT (less than 5 minute walk to... more

I planned a trip in conjunction with business that I had in Denver. I stayed at a Marriott, which we all know to be one of the better hotels. I packed up my business attire and my picked up my girlfriend at the airport and we were off to Breckenridge for a long weekend. I was very considered as I... more

This was the second time I stayed at this Breckenridge property. The unit itself was recently upgraded and in good condition with some exceptions. First, the toilet needed to be fastened to the floor properly. Also the toilet didn't flush properly. Lastly we could not get much hot water, but after complaining this problem was fixed. Good luck figuring out... more

After reading some scary reviews about bad experiences at the Village, we were pleasantly surprised to find a completely updated 2 bedroom condo (stainless appliances, granite counters, large bathrooms). Very comfortable beds and multiple TVs kept everyone happy. The common areas are dated, but we spent most of our time skiing and snowboarding so it didn't really matter. Location is... more
