We went to Badger Creek Ranch in Sept 08 – what a delight.
If you want to go somewhere out of the ordinary you have found the place!
This is no dude ranch or holiday camp but somewhere where you can really fit in. Eric and Sue are great – really friendly people and Sues cooking is varied and mouth-watering. But what about the horses I hear you say!! Where do I start – if you’ve seen the website you’ll know they have quarter horses and they are as great as they look. My husband had never ridden before but after the first hour felt confident and comfortable. American saddles ensure that even across tough terrain and after several hours of riding – no sore bums! It was riding in the true sense…the horses weren’t dull and boring, sometimes needing encouragement to go where you wanted them to.
