We recently stayed at the McClure House and loved it! Our hosts, Judy and Wally, were so personable that soon we felt like we were staying with long-time friends, rather than impersonal innkeepers (which has often been our experience elsewhere). The place was immaculate and had a real home-y feel, very nicely decorated. It is surrounded by beautiful forest. They have a big deck that is very nice for watching the abundant wildlife. It is located right at the foot of McClure's pass, where we went on hikes and enjoyed the magnificent views - it is also very close to Redstone. Our stay was so relaxing and enjoyable that we hope to come back and stay there again on our next Colorado visit!
