We are an extremely busy family of 4 with kids ages 17 (girl) and 7 (boy). We had just bought a fifth wheel toy hauler and were looking for somewhere close by to break it in. Being Mothers' Day weekend, I also wanted a few activities so I didn't feel too much like I was roughing it. We felt like... More

This was our first visit to a full-on campground. We have always dry camped in tents and eventually a pop up camper. This year we upgraded to a fifth wheel, so we wanted to try some thing out close to home with full amenities while we figured out how to work everything. Everyone we encountered from the staff to other... More

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Jellystone Park in Larkspur, Colorado. The staff went beyond our expectations, the bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever been in, for a campground. I understand the park owner has recently purchased this park and has been working very hard to improve it year after year. I can't wait to come back and... More

My family of 4 is traveling across country and back for military training. We are full timers and being military for the past 21 years, we've lived just about everywhere- we've seen a lot of bad and a lot of good. This park was wonderful. We were slow going this weekend due to weather, it got to the point that... More

appear to be great facilities for children [though they may also be managed as poorly as their reservation; checkin and payment systems]. clearly have no interest in the out-of-state traveler. very aware that they have no competition.

First I would like to say that we were so looking forward to our visit to Jellistone-Larksbur. As this would have been our twin 3yr old boys first visit. We are avid campers and have traveled all over. BUT this place was Horrible more so was the gentleman I dealt with his name was Ian. First let me say and... More

We made a reservation for 5 days on 8/11/12 because it was the only campground near to Castle Rock, where the kids live, that had an opening over the Labor Day weekend. The 50 amp sites are very hilly, no way we could get level even putting 4 blocks under each tire. We spent the whole time without the use... More

Stayed at the Morning Glory lodge with our two yr old and 7 month old girls. Our kids loved seeing Yogi Bear. Our lodge was very cozy. We were right by the train our two yr old loved seeing the trains go by. We all slept through the night, we r also not light sleepers. Breakfast was pretty good and... More

This campground is an awful campground for tent camping, definitely maybe better for RVs. Out of 9 tents sites that were full upon going to sleep, only five still had tents set up on them by 6:00 am because so many people gave up and just left overnight. First off, the tent sites they originally booked for us were actually... More

If not for the horrible location this RV park would be great. We rented an RV and camped here for three days. First off, the park is located just off I-25 five or six miles south of Castle Rock. Between the very busy I-25 and the park is a very busy rail line. Large trains about 1 or 2 an... More
