The upscale ambiance was spectacular with a natural wood burning fireplace, and from the dining room, a lighted view of the well groomed outside lawns, bushes, pond, and trees with the Garden of the Gods Park in the background. The pork tenderloin cuts were somewhat tough requiring a steak knife and even then it took some effort. The salad with candied nuts, separated greens, a lump of bleu cheese, and a somewhat hard pear did provide some pleasing tastes, but was somewhat disjointed. The service was good although a request for a steak knife took some time to satisfy. Overall it was a very pleasant October, 2008, evening. more
