My husband and I came here for the Marriage getaway conference. We highly reccommend it. We checked in at the Carrage House. The grounds are beautiful. I have Stayed at Glen Eyrie yearly for 4 years as part of a Conference. Each year the views are better and better. The wild life is spectacular. We stayed here for our honeymoon in the honeymoon suite and it was all very nice. It has a rustic feel about it and the view is more than you could ever ask for. While staying there, we went on several hikes (unguided) and found some VERY nice areas that were great for some pictures and videos. Definitely worth staying! more

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the "Glen" as it is affectionately called by the locals. The accomodations were first rate and the employees were warm and hospitable. There are plenty of hiking trails to enjoy, plus the scenery is grand from all vantages. One really feels that he/she has entered an world of serene enchantment... more

The name Glen Eyrie means "Valley Of The Eagles Nest." Named this by General Palmer and his wife because of the giant eagles nest tucked in a crack between two rocks. The eagles nest can be seen to your right side once you've reached the fork in the road just shortly after you enter onto the grounds of Glen Eyrie.... more
