We selected this motel (it's not really a "hotel") after reading the reviews posted on Trip Advisor. Overall, we had a very nice stay. The pluses: Mike was wonderful and made us feel welcome, and provided us with information on all the local attractions; 2) the location between Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs was very convenient; 3) the rate... more

Our stay at the Hotel San Ayre was wonderful! The service what phenomenal and the hotel itself was perfect. We stayed in the cottage and absolutely loved it! There was plenty of room, very comfortable beds and beautiful landscaping. The location of the hotel provides great access to Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City. The next time we travel to... more

A great place to enjoy the week or just a weekend. Both the cottage and the friendly management make you feel right at home! The location is fantastic with everything you might need or want within walking distance. more

Hotel San Ayre is the perfect place to stay without all the frills of a larger hotel. I traveled with my two teenage daughters. Stayed in the "mountain suite". We each had our own bedroom. Great view of Pikes Peak from the private patio. Location was close to everything. The Sonic down the street was a life savor! Great Mexican... more

I've stayed at San Ayre a few times over the last 2-years. In for business or leisure travel. All I can say is wow - their rates are super for what you get and the staff has always been more professional and interested in me being happy with my stay then in about any other hotel that I've stayed at.... more

We spent two nights at the Hotel San Ayre at the end of July. When we checked in, Mike pulled out a map and marked it up with information about the places we were interested in visiting. He gave us some restaurant and hiking trail tips and then showed us our room. The room had beautiful wood floors and modern,... more

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel San Ayre very much. Recently renovated and our room was very special. Immaculate grounds. My husband heard an employee refer to it as "boutique lodging". Don't let that scare you--it means the rooms are unique. Staff extemely nice and helpful. more

When we arrived at the San Ayre we were extremely disappointed with our accomodations. The air conditioner was in the ceiling over the bed and would not cool the room, even on high. There was no soap in the bathroom, no coffee service, no ice. In short, none of the basic ammenities one would expect given the price of the... more

I'll start by complimenting the owner. He's very friendly, and can provide lots of help in the area. But... It's nothing but a small motel with some interior renovations. Certainly not worthy of the glowing reviews posted here. 8 rooms with outside doors facing the main road. (and about 4 parking spots). Situated a mile or two from town in... more

We saw Hotel San Ayre on here, and decided to stay. We were visting our grandson who lived in Colorado Springs. The staff there was great. Brandi was very welcoming and always had a smile on her face. We got to our room and was impressed with how clean and modern it was. We will continue to book here for... more
