Service was great, but room was very small, breakfast had frozen waffles (not fresh) and no eggs. The location is very near a train track and there was lots of train noise. We love La Quinta but this one was below par. Internet was excellent. more

We spent 3 nights at this motel, stayed on the first floor - the VERY outdated rooms were musty smelling, the linens, carpet and bedding felt damp the entire time. The mattresses in each room were VERY old, you could feel the springs right through the mattress. Were tempted to leave, but were tired from travel, so we stuck it... more
We stayed 2 nights at this property on a Sunday & Monday in early June. We had never stayed at a La Quinta property before. I had priced online and by calling different hotel porperties directly before going on our trip. I found this property to be the least expensive ($89). So, I was a bit skeptical. But we were... more
This hotel is conviently located to the Garden of the Gods and other Colorado Springs attractions. Many of the rooms have doors that open directly to the parking lot so noise could be a problem. We were lucky that our room was on the inside so it was not an issue. The first non-smoking room that we were given smelled... more
We were originally intending to stay at the Hyatt hotel across I-25, but they were full. They recommended the La Quinta, and we're glad they did. The young gentleman at the front desk was quite friendly and helpful and offered a very reasonable $61 rate. Our room was next to the swimming pool, and some kids were enjoying an evening... more
This La Quinta is really a motel with the room doors opening to the parking lot. The rooms were clean, but not very nice. The breakfast wasn't that great either. The location is fairly close to the Garden of the Gods, which is an awesome and free attraction. It is pet friendly, which we needed. I would probably look around... more
This was the first time I had visited a La Quinta Inn, so I wasn't sure what to expect. To my delight, the room was very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable with plenty of fluffy pillows. There were plenty of towels in the bath. We had a 1st floor, end room located at the bottom of the stairs... more
This was the first time we were going to use a La Quinta Inn. We had called ahead and registered for one night. After we checked in and saw the room, we cancelled and left. Like other writers have stated, the front desk person and the front entry were pleasant. And the bathroom was OK clean. But, the room was... more
We stayed for 4 nights in Sept 2006, and another night during the Memorial Day weekend 2007, with kids, parents and grandparents. For $59 per night, both stays were wonderful. Friendly staff, nice breakfast and clean rooms. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and service of this motel, given the low price. You can't go wrong choosing La Qunita... more
Chose this hotel because of price, availability on a short notice trip, I liked the name "Garden of the Gods" I realised it was for a national park which I figured was nearby. The hotel was decent, it had been snowing the previous days so outside was covered in snow, not the best when staying at an outdoor corridor style... more
