Nothing special--not good, not bad. In the heart of the city so very well located. Clean, quiet, good for business travel. more

Very impressed by the hotel room, although the only drawback (which I thought was very odd) was that it didn't have a coffee maker. Hotel staff were all very friendly and free wine happy hour is definitely a bonus! Can't comment on value/price as I don't know what the meeting organizers paid. more

Nice enough place. Great staff. Sit a bit overpriced for the room itself. more

This hotel was close to absolutely everything we could have wanted in downtown Denver. The beds were very comfortable and the decor is very trendy/crazy designs ......... I liked it! more

I love the Kimpton properties, but tend not to stay in them as often since I can usually get something cheaper. But each time I do, I remember why I love them. I travel a lot for business and get so used to the standardized beige-ness of the normal hotels, so the Hotel Monaco was a refreshing change. The decor... more

We had a mother, daughter trip and couldn't have been more pleased. The staff was friendly, helpful, even making arrangements for dinner at Sushi Den, which we would highly recommend. We went to the Aveda Spa, located within the hotel, which was a fabulous experience in and of itself. Not to be missed. The room was spacious and well-appointed with... more

We stayed here for a Broncos game and found everything to be very nice. The rooms were very modern and trendy. Bathroom was huge. We enjoyed the wine hour. Appetizers from Panzano's were great! Next morning we left at 6:30 for airport and had ordered "Breakfast with Wings" which was waiting and hot to take with us at the front... more

Stayed at the Monaco Denver for 5 nights. As said, location is simply perfect for all Denver based activities and the hotel,is fine. Negatives : we never ever met a concierge which is disppointing when you have a few questions, found & lost service is extremely poor, service very uneven - sometimes unfriendly at reception. more

I stayed at the Monaco for two separate nights on each side of a trip to mom's in Colorado Springs. The first night, the really nice front desk guy upgraded me to a suite. The room service dinner was just perfect. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. And the Tattered Cover bookstore is just down the street! more

I was skeptical -- a dog-friendly hotel. I love dogs but do not own one and live in a condo -- how would they affect the hotel experience? Turns out, they were a wonderful addition to a pretty good hotel (with a couple of caveats -- but none about the dogs). Caveats included: room service somewhat limited; we got in... more
