We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy, eclectic vintage Motel. Ive stayed in many and usually the neon sign is as good as it gets. The rooms are usually shoddy and most of the other "tenants" are of the long term sort. Not the case at The Siesta. While the furniture is old, none of it is beat up... more

Me and my husband stayed at the Siesta in mid Sept. 09 and just loved it. The owners were very friendly and accomodating. They sent us to a couple great places to eat and told us to go on the train. We loved it. We stayed a few nights there and it felt like we were at home. The beds... more

I was so disappointed with their reservation system!!! I booked through Gateway Reservations when there were at least 6 rooms available to chose from, went through reservation, paid with my CC, got the confirmation before I reserved my tickets to Durango Silverton railroad. Sounds like I should have some fun time, right? NO!!! Got a call the next day, saying... more

Visted Durango for a couple of days, late August 2009. Stayed two nights. Clean, very nice rooms and grounds. These owners aren't looking for good enough, they put in a lot of work to keep an older Motel looking it's best. The staff was frendly and informative about the town. Will stay here My next trip to Durango. Almost past it... more

This is a small, older motel with fewer than 20 units. It now has wireless internet in all rooms. Ferocious non smoking policy (I signed some kind of agreement that my credit card would be debited $200 if I violated the in room smoking ban - you can still smoke outside). Prices seemed to be quite a bit lower than... more

We booked this room online, based on price and recommendations on Trip Advisor. Unfortunately, it seemed very pricey for a very ordinary room. Paid $95 (including taxes) and yet there was no breakfast, no pool. Rooms are small and "cutesy", including rockers and recliners, and ours had a teeny kitchenette, but it still seemed like a lot of money for... more

We were there as a group and even though we were told about "group pricing" a lot of us were charged different prices. Now granted the rooms were somewhat different than each other, and some had little kitchenettes but they were basically about the same size and aged from the 50's. My main problem was with the Female owner. My... more

Small room, small TV, small minded owners that need better customer relations and open to possible customer needs. Maybe all people in a group should be charged the same for similar rooms? Maybe better to group a group closer together? more

The rooms are outdated but clean.. The hot tub strangely stopped working when we got there... The promised group rates were not group rates at all.. they were the standard rates and the rooms were not valued well at all.. My room in particular was ransacked by a non employee when the housekeeping staff had the room open. I am... more
