Three years ago we stayed at the Inn at Ft. Collins on College Ave in Ft. Collins, Colorado. It was absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed in. The room was terribly dirty, the mattress was gone and in its place, was foam rubber. There was dust everywhere. The toilet was not attached to the floor, there was a mouse hole in the baseboard, the floor was very very dirty, the bathroom window would not close and there was no screen on it and the front door would not lock or close adequately. Ok you say why did we stay and not move on. Husband was tired and will stay anywhere and can sleep anywhere. He is a veteran and had to learn to sleep anywhere. We did get half of our money back. And the sign said they were AAA recommended! I can't believe that AAA of colorado would recommend such a dump. Maybe in the three intervening years the place has been fixed up. more
