Other descriptions of the Woods Inn are accurate. Large, funky rooms, decorated with random art. Our was clean (though not ready at 3:30 - 4:00 is check in time). Plenty of hot water in the shower. Great location in Frisco. People were pleasant. Did not use the hot tub, but others seemed to enjoy it. Two giant problems for me.... more
This visit to Colorado was "in addition" to the week already planned. After searching the B&Bs and other properties in the area, I decided upon the WOODS INN on the fact that they were a B&B (more on this later). Upon arrival, we were met by a gentleman in the office. After trying to run my credit card (it did... more
We stayed in the Venetian room at the Woods Inn Aug.15 - 17, 2007 and had a fantastic time. The room which was huge, very clean, plenty of thick towels and even 2 bathrobes to use. Close to everything in town and would recommend staying at the Woods Inn. Can't wait to come again. more
As we all know... there are different types of travelers. You have travelers that are used to 5 star hotels and there are travelers that sleep on friend's couches. Our room didn't feel anything like a hotel room - I felt more like I was in my best friend's guest room. The decor was decidely non-hotel like and they brought us tons of bath... more
Spent three nights in Sep 05. Website looked great. Neither sink nor tub drain worked, and the owner did not fix it. There was A LOT of mostly minor deferred maintenance which gave the place a very worn look. Breakfast was good for the price ($5), but you share a table w/bench seating. Residents of the low-rent apartments next door... more
I have stayed at the Woods Inn three times...its not your average hotel. Its a relaxed stay. No pressure, full of friendly people. Great food all you can eat breakfast--custom cooked orders. Restaurants are near-by...and the MooseJaw Bar is right down the street.--the moosejaw is a great time by itself--a local bar The rooms are clean, and very large, surprisingly... more
We stayed one night in January 2004. Room was freezing cold, and wouldn't warm up. I got food poisening that night, and was sick. Decided the following day to cancel the trip as my condition wasn't improving, and the room wasn't getting any warmer. According to our reservation e-mail after 14 days out from our reservation date you could cancel... more
