My fiance and I visited Glenwood Springs for a long weekend getaway and stayed at the Red Rooster Inn. Unfortunately, it lacked even basic amenities and all of the thoughtful details and sense of welcome that you typically find in a cozy inn or bed and breakfast. We won't ever go back. Where to start? OK, it's polite to start off with things I liked: the view was wonderful, the house looks nice on the outside, and I enjoyed the spring water. We stayed here for 1 night in May 2009. The location is great and the views amazing. We had the Sunset Suite (2 rooms upstairs with a shared bathroom, a lounge/kitchen area with tv and a small balcony). The rooms were clean and the beds extremely comfortable. We stayed in the Red Rooster Inn couple of days before Christmas. I was fairly skeptic about the pictures on the B&B website but the place is that beautiful.
