I get so tired of the cookie cutter hotels i go out of my way to find special places. This is one of them. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The rooms are great and the pub next door makes their own beer. What more could you ask for! more

The friendly desk staff at the Hotel Denver made our stay so enjoyable! We walked in with no reservation - they recommended a corner room, which was clean, comfortable, spacious and had great views. (I'm sure reservations are necessary in a busier season!!) The staff recommended restaurants, things to do in the area, and got on the phone to set... more
Thank you radisson hotel for allowing us to sleep on sleep number bed that was the most comfortable bed we have ever sleep on. We never slept on the the sleep number bed before. It was totally new concept for us to see the mattress which can adjust its firmness touch of a button. After we went home we diceded... more
Ended up having to spend an unscheduled stay in Glenwood Springs due to weather. We stayed at the Hotel Denver in one of the river view rooms. One of the nicest rooms I have stayed at in a long time! My wife is a quilter, and she was delighted with the antique touches in the room including a handmade quilt... more
My boyfriend and I stayed there in December 2008 for 3 nights (we are 25 yrs old). We got a "Denver Room" and it was quite spacious and comfortable. We had a nice view of the river and there was a train station right outside but we never heard it and it never woke me up during the night. I... more
We were travelling between Denver and Salt Lake City and stayed here as a stopover. The hotel room was a little cramped - but adequate - and was good for an overnight stopover. The lady on reception however was quite rude and agressive - I'd hate to have any problems dealing with her! Nothing really in Glenwood Springs - wouldn't... more
This hotel is so charming! We loved the antique furnitures in the hallways and we even found a 2 volume History of the World book published in the late 1800s! The room maintained that historic feeling, but had the internet connection and the flat screen TV. Staff was friendly and proximity to the BrewPub was very convenient. Only negatives were... more
We live in Colorado Springs and decided to take an in state vacation to see the leaves change in our pretty mountains. We stayed in Aspen first, then drove to Glenwood Springs. We liked the Hotel Denver, great central location and no real train, car or water noise at night. (even in the front rooms of the hotel) The next... more
We stayed here for 1 night to celebrate our daughter's 5th b-day weekend. We have stayed here before, and the location itself is worth the price. Although the rooms are smaller, they are comfortable and have all that one needs. It's a historic hotel which is neat and the proximity to downtown Glenwood is a plus. Whenever we're in Glenwood... more
While the hotel probably was making the adjustment from winter to spring tourism season during my visit, there is very little to praise about Hotel Denver. The staff were incompetent and strangely brusque. The rooms are very expensive for what you get. I also could do without the Ralph Waldo Emerson epigraphs on the corridor and room walls. The brewery/pub... more
