The one thing people need to know is that this property is under new ownership and will be extensively remodeled over the coming year. In the meantime, we recommend you avoid it. The upstairs rooms may be better, but the plumbing is pretty bad on the ground floor - leaky faucets especially. The bathtub was a real hazard because there was no non-slip protection. When I pointed this out to the front desk, the young clerk did not seem at all interested in even passing the information on to management., despite my use of the phrase "lawsuit waiting to happen". The website says they have a pool, but they don't and won't have one until next year at the earliest. In the meantime, you're invited to go use the pool at a place down the street. There is a cheerful lobby and breakfast room; the continental breakfast is standard, but good. This is very much a hit or miss experience -- our fellow travelers had a little fridge in their room, which we didn't, but their shower didn't work... more
