The staff is very accomodating, food was great, the deck off the lounge has beautiful views of the lake and the mountains. They have games, big screen TV's in the lounge, and Wii too! The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. more

The rooms are quiet and the beds are comfortable. We have stayed at this hotel several times and would not consider any other lodging in the area. more
This was a perfect start to our Colorado vacation. Everything about this hotel was fantastic! The view, the beautiful rooms decorated with log furniture, the lounge area, the bar and the staff. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. more

The trip was perfect and even with snow amongst the changing aspens and closures high on Trail Ridge Road we extended our stay! The staff graciously provided another room so we enjoyed a full extra two days at RMNP! We stayed here for one night on a trip through the area and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. The staff at the front desk were also very helpful in helping us plan the next few days of our trip!!! Will definitely stay here again! more
The hotel has very comfortable rooms with good beds and mountain views. If you want your room to be serviced, you must remember to put a note to this effect on the door handle, or it will not be done. My husband is on business in Grand Lake for 10 days, so we accompanied him to take advantage of the free hotel in a great location. The hotel is family friendly. Very nicely decorated rooms with balcony & view of Grand Lake. Very theme oriented. Great assortment of items available for "Continental Breakfast" - breakfast burritos/sandwiches available in dining room refrigerator, except no frozen waffles. The Gateway Inn, nestled a half mile from the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Here you are greated by great people who care and make time to answer questions and treat you like friends and family.
