Loved everything about it but the private bath. The small bath area and low ceiling. The pool, the mud room and the massage were fantastic! Lisa and Rachel give great massages! Friendly staff. Old world character. They have a taco truck for food and vending machines. Bring your water bottle.

Hey, this place is ok! Not a luxury resort, but the water amenities, massage, mud room and cave pools (so awesome!) are all pretty nice and clean. The water does NOT smell like sulfur!! Put your guard down a bit and enjoy a nice soak! The prices are reasonable and staff is nice. There may be one too many signs saying “don’t do this” … but given our species these days…

Fantastic hot spring pool. Very healing. We had a road trip here and appreciated the warm hot springs. The botanical feel with tropical plants was beautiful. Very spiritual place is Idaho springs. Not too pricey either and very well organised.

The pool was way too full to enjoy the experience. People brought their kids, and they were jumping and splashing all over. And to top it off, the water is cooler than bathtub water. It was the opposite of relaxing. For us, it was not worth the money to get in. We won’t be back.

I went with three friends and was so excited as this had been on my list of things to do since moving here a year ago… please go to a different springs. I thought it’d be cool because it’s historic but that’s just a way to say old. After researching the several different pricing pages we determined it’d be $40/person for the jacuzzi/pool combo, reserved it for one person on a weekday without the combo, because the website states additional guests and upgrades can be done at the counter upon arrival. So once we get there they charge us $177 so I figured on $40 X 4 = $160 plus tax… no. The total cost was $204.5 because it was on “holiday rates” which were stated nowhere on the website and I wasn’t charged the holiday rate while booking the experience. ANYWAY we figure this out about half way through the jacuzzi hour and when we were done we went up and asked this woman named Maya who I would gladly bet money is the same “horrible” “rude” “50-something blondeish woman” that all of these reviews say was terrible to other people as well. Well she got us too. She finally refunded us $30 after going back and forth for about 5 minutes. She was nasty to us and this obviously isn’t her first time. If I owned this establishment I’d be embarrassed to have this woman represent me at any capacity. She’s genuinely terrible and ultimately the reason I will be actively telling people not to go there. Ultimately their website doesn’t reflect their surprise “because I feel like it” price hikes once you drive an hour to get there. …

Springs and caves are good but my girlfriends stuff was stolen out of a locker. One of the employees tried to help by asking around if anyone saw/knew anything but to no avail. Once it was clear the stuff was gone they shrugged her off to sit in a wet bathing suit in the lobby and one of the front desk workers, a horrific woman with blondeish/orange hair was actively rude and condescending about the situation. When I politely asked what the protocol was for this and whether they could check their cameras the same horrible, rude woman copped an attitude and basically told me to go fly a kite. There are better hot springs with nicer facilities where you won’t have to worry about getting robbed and then have the staff actively be rude and avoid helping rectify the situation. Avoid at all costs.…

Needs some refurbishing . The water seemed little murky. Very crowded. With amount of people it needs constant cleaning.Men’s locker room was disgusting according to my husband. The pool was only warm in certain areas.lockers are tiny. Cave pools seemed like they needed more cleaning.I am not sure where the mud room was.

I like the down to earth vibe this place has and the King room at the Lodge Inn across the street was nice, so was the hot springs indoor pool. However, I would NOT recommend spending the $28.50 per person for the outside jacuzzi. We rented one this morning and got the "Thunderbird" jacuzzi. The info said it would be at least 108 degrees. It was not and 32 minutes into being in there, the water was getting noticeably colder, and the jets turned off every 3 minutes and their pressure was really strong. There was a posting the stated if you were not happy with anything, you must report it within the first 15 minutes if you want a refund. We got out after 34 minutes and I was too cold to bring it up to the lady at the front desk. I really should have though because we spent $60 for an unenjoyable experience. …

We checked into The Inn across the street from the pool. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. When we returned from eating dinner downtown, I noticed that my key didn't work. It is the old-fashioned metal room key rather than the magnetic key card used by most hotels. My friend's key did work. We fell asleep early after a day in the pool. At 3 am, I was coming out of the bathroom when a man opened the door and entered our room. I hollered and he ran out. The front desk was closed. There is no chain on the door. Not that those chains are much security, but it would have worked to deter this silent intruder. I did not sleep again. When I reported this to the front desk, I was mostly dismissed. After pressing the issue to get any sort of response from the clerk, she wrote down my room number and said she would report it to the manager. That was the end of it. Nobody called me. Nobody cared. I WILL NEVER RETURN!…
