Man, this is a big rambling old hotel, but I found it absolutely pleasant and exciting. I have to say that it is NOT listed as haunted and I don't actually believe in such stuff, but if ever there was a place this could absolutely be it!!!! Daytime was okay, but at night when I returned after dark, it had...

Booked hotel direct 2 days prior to our stay. Wanted 1 king on 2nd floor and 1 king on 3rd floor. Was told they only had queens on the 2nd floor. Also that I would be charged regardless of whether I showed up or not. The person that took my booking made me feel that I was being a burden....

We DROVE from North Florida to Colorado and Stayed in over 10 hotels. This hotel was amazing. The feel of the hotel, the people that work there, and all of the antiques were just perfect. The room was clean and felt so homey, even with the small shower, that we didnt mind one bit. We will be back. Thanks Everyone...

My daughter was married in Leadville on Sept. 17, and the Delaware Hotel played a major role in the celebration. We rented the entire hotel which gave us use of all guest rooms, the lobby, and the restaurant. Gail and her staff were more than accommodating and did a wonderful job to make our event special. Everyone from the front...

I had read mixed revews about this place and after our night there, I can see why. I love old hotels and am fascinated by the peeling weathered paint on the outside window sills, the scrapes on the old bed and the ugly linoleum, popular in bygone days, in the bathroom. Our room on the thrid floor in the back...

We really enjoyed this old hotel. It was a good hike up to the third floor but the antiques on the way were fun to stop and check out. The locations was perfect for what we were doing (the train ride up the valley) and we had a great meal at the restaurant in the hotel. The waiter was great...

Hotel was interesting with all the antiques lining the hall. Room was fine but street noise was very bad. Leadville doesn't need air conditioning but we had the window open a little as it was stuffy - band at a nearby bar kept us awake. Don't think we'd stay again but if you like history and great old hotels try...

I read all the reviews before booking this hotel, so I was somewhat prepared for the experience of staying here, the somewhat convoluted parking ( hey its an old hotel in the middle of a city, right ?) the antiques and period furniture and decor. I expected creaky floors and oddly tilted woodwork and maybe a musty smell, a timeworn...

We planned our trip to stay at historic hotels like the Delaware, and we were not disappointed. We had a very roomy suite with beautiful antique and reproduction furniture. We enjoyed seeing the antiques all over the hotel. If your room is on the third floor like ours was, take your time walking up the stairs if you haven't adjusted...
