I can't comprehend how expedia gave this motel 2 stars. I checked out about 15 minutes after checking in. There were numerous problems. for one, the parking lot was poorly lit, and one of those lights had burned out. The motel is right next to a truck stop, and didn't feel safe. Also, the motel has a bar attached, which seemed to draw a rather seedy crowd. I'm betting most rooms don't fill up until closing time. Inside the room, the carpet was stained, walls scratched, and all the furniture looked old and abused. There was a smell also-- like the stuff you use to kill pet odors. I could have stayed there, but only if there were no other options.
The only good thing: they gave me a refund without a hassle.
