I have multiple food allergies and intolerances, which makes it difficult for me to eat at most restaurants. The manager and staff at Oakleys have been outstanding, making special meals for me. They have fresh food items, cook many things from scratch, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. They do a great job working with my many... more

This good-sized hotel has a very intimate feel--excellent customer service, a warm and welcoming bar and a very filling and delicious breakfast. The room appointments have just the right touch of southwest style and rustic comfort--dreamy bed linens and comfortable beds. The landscaping and water features make it seem like you're a miles away from the highway, so it feels... more

We booked the Sundance Mountain Lodge for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. From the moment we walked in to book the facility we were impressed. The staff was friendly and helpful and the event coordinator was wonderful and easy to work with. We booked the event room and the pool area was available as well for our celebration. The prices... more

Sundance Mountain Lodge is amazing! My fiance (now my husband) and I picked Sundance as the location for our wedding reception in October. Everything was perfect. The staff is wonderful, we had 55 guests stay there from out of town, and it couldn't have been better. I would definitely suggest that anyone stay here if they are in the Colorado... more

I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience at Sundance Mtn Lodge in every respect. What a fantastic alternative to plasticized chain hotels! I was greeted warmly by a bubbly desk clerk and enjoyed chatting with the chef and bartender as I struggled just trying to pick from the innovative lunch menu. My turkey club with brie and bacon made... more

My wife, young daughter and I stayed at SML while going through the Springs. What a great place! After a long drive we did't want to stay in a "big box" hotel and found this gem. We arrived early afternoon and were greeted by friendly staff right off the bat. Our room was beautifully appointed with a greatly needed comfortable... more

Arrived at Sundance Mountain Lodge for a wedding. We were met in the parking lot by the "manager" and threatened that if we didn't leave immediately, we would be arrested (other guests, too). Apparently the wedding had been called off at the last minute and no one had been notified. The staff member was very rude, very unprofessional, and lacked... more

This was a very unfortunate situation where the groom backed out of a wedding 40 minutes before the ceremony. The bride's family and friends were understandable upset and were a bit unruly in the parking lot and for some reason blame the hotel for the situation. Our Food and Beverage Director spoke to the bride's family, however there was never...

Great location. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Newly remodeled...the sink area is very elegant. And, a great price! But...the sheets were very itchy. more

We thanked the customer for thier feedback and we so pleased that their stay was pleasant. We had problems with our commercial washers which may have meant they were not rinsing the linens well enough which might have made the sheets itchy. After some $1500 in repairs, we are convinced the linens will be soft and comfortable. Feedback such as...

We booked 2 nights here and after the first night we asked if they would get us a different mattress because there were springs poking into our backs and we did not sleep well. After returning in the afternoon we found that they only turned the mattress over and it was'nt different of the other side. They agreed to move... more

We are very sorry to hear we did not live up to the guest's expectations. We have since put luxurious mattress pads on all beds to remove the feeling of "springs" and maintanance has verified that all heating and air conditioning are functioning properly. The manager who handled this situation is no longer with the hotel. We now guarantee satisfaction...

There should be a requirement that before any business in the hospitality industry is allowed to use “Lodge” or “Resort” in their name, someone checks to see whether the business is more than just a motel with a new coat of “rustic inspired” paint. Imagine a 3rd grader being allowed to buy whatever paint and building supplies he wants at... more

Sundance Mountain Lodge takes its name from Sundance Mountain directly west of the hotel. "Lodge" comes from the design. Our website describes us as having "Mountain Charm with Interstate Convenience" so we make it clear that we are located near Interstate 25 just north of the Air Force Academy. We do not understand the comment about maid service as our...
