We recently stayed at the Beaumont and were impressed by the renovation. The rooms are lovely,although we would have enjoyed a comfortable chair for reading. We stayed here during our wedding honeymoon. This is an incredibly romantic, historic hotel, with great service and we had a beautiful room. Although it is restored from a historic national treasure, the facilities are in modern working condition (high speed wireless internet, excellent bathroom plumbing, etc).
