My daughter, myself, our friends, dogs and cat spent Thanksgiving at the Meadows and stayed in one of the condos. We had a wonderful experience. Our condo had a fantastic view overlooking the valley. We most enjoyed playing pond hockey on the big pond, sliding down the inner tubing hill and using the rope tow to relax on the way... more

My family (wife, 4 kids) and I were there Nov. 26 - Nov. 28 and enjoyed the place very much. Had a great turkey meal with good friends. Cooked in the condo and had a good rocky mountain breakfast in the restaurant. My little ones rode the inner tubes, but had the most fun ice skating and horseback riding. We... more

I spent the Thanksgiving weekend up at the Beaver Meadows Resort with friends. We had several young children with us and a couple of dogs. The resort is very kid and pet friendly. I read the older unflattering reviews. This was not our experience. I do know that the resort has just recently change management. Our condo was freshly painted... more

Me and my husband went to Beaver Medows this past weekend and it was very cozy. Read the reviews and were shocked by their statements. The new management must have turned this place around because there were no dead flies any of the other things that are on these reviews. We sat in the dinning center by the big fireplace... more

I just went up to Beaver Meadows last weekend and had a great time. The room was clean and beautifully decorated in rustic fashion. The Christmas lights shimmering through the falling snow made it look like a winter wonderland. The food was great and the service was timely. I would highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway, so beautiful... more

My husband and I just stayed there this past weekend for a wedding in condo #1. It was the worst $149.00/night ever spent. If we would have know how lousy it was we would have drove the 2 hours back home. The check-in people were extremely unknowledgable and didn't even know how to operate the credit card machine. We were... more

Booked a one-night condo stay for our family during Christmas break based on a brochure that made this place look like a winter wonderland. Sadly it failed to come anywhere close to that promise. Our condo (at $145/night) had numerous issues; it was fairly dirty, with flies (dead & alive), cobwebs, burned out light bulbs, curtain rods held up with... more

In an nutshell, this is probably a great place to come for a weekend if you live nearby, but if you're spending a lot of money to fly here from out of state, think twice. We went to Beaver Meadows for a New Year's "retreat" with friends. I had mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, there are some... more

A friend and I stayed 3 nights here in mid August. We booked on-line at the Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch and were looking forward to a pleasant break from the summer city blues. The ranch is about 125 miles from Denver on good, paved roads, except for the last 4.6 miles. We reserved Cabin 2, up on the hill for $123.00... more
