Pleasant surprise after a long road trip of good, bad & ugly hotel stays. We were directed there by the nearby Holiday Inn (rooms soldout) and we ended up stumbling onto a gem. This was the third time my husband and I have stayed here in the last 6 years. It is the only place we stay when we visit Salida. It is an older motel that has been remodeled. I checked out this hotel by recomendation from another hotel in town due they no longer offer smoking rooms. The rooms were so comfortable and homey.
