We stayed here one night and did arrive late due to my husband's fishing trip running late. Darren and LaDonna, the owners, were very accomodating with our late arrival and left the door open for us with a nice welcome note. Creekside is a relatively new b&b (about 1 year old) located on the banks of the Arkansas River and below the shadow of some of Colorado's largest 14,000+ foot mountains. This is a large log home with on-property access to hiking trails. There is a hot tub on the river, along with benches alongside the water for that romantic evening.... more
