Everytime we go to Salida, CO. we stay at the Travelodge. The owners are very nice people and very accomadating. The rate was more than fair, the room was clean and comfortable. We are very pleased with their service. In the future, when we travel to Salida , we will stay there again. more

We came to Salida to ski at Monarch Mountain only 20 minutes away. We stayed at Salida Travelodge for 5 days. Nice place, clean, 2 hottubs in the back, good continental breakfast. This hotel is a dump. Save your money and the headache. There was a dead fly on my bed and used tissue in my bathroom upon check in. I stayed in this hotel and wore my shoes in the shower. We stayed at the Salida Travelodge over the Memorial Day weekend. I did not have the same experience as the other reviewers... First, we were gouged on the price. I booked at $81 per night but was charged $107. I expected the price to increase over the vacation weekend but this was surprising. As was the surly front desk help.... more
