The hotel was fine. The staff was very friendly. It is not a luxury hotel, but the bed/room was great and clean. Breakfast was typical for the type of hotel. We didn't hang out at the hotel, we just wanted a clean, safe, and comfortable place to sleep. Walmart had their employees staying there long term. more

We like the town of Salida. Stayed here in 2001 passing through. As we came into town and decided to stay, we were near the Gateway Inn.
