Everything you read in these reviews is true. If you can afford it, stay here (and prices are lower during the off season). It’s very well maintained (well, some creaking floors & such, but if you don't like "historic", this is not for you). Guests are treated like royalty. Old West atmosphere in a 100 year-old landmark. Free wi-fi. Everything... more

We stayed at the Wyman for one night while on our way down to Durango. We stayed in the Blair Street room, which was beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed. The owner was very nice and the service was fantastic. We happened to be there on our anniversary and the room was decorated for it with roses in the... more

Beautiful, comfortable, clean rooms. Friendly and helpful front desk who were very accommodating. Lovely setting. I wish I had come here instead of staying in Durango. more

This is a great hotel. The staff were really friendly. The owner was available during the day and overnight, and was very helpful when our car got a flat tire. Breakfast is great with different dishes every day (and it's free). The stay is on the pricey side, but it's worth the money. This is a great place for a... more

We arrived in Silverton and decided to spend the night because there was so much more to see than we expected. The Wyman has a bed and breakfast option so we stopped in to see how much it would be. The grand total was about $130 for a room and breakfast and let me just say that I feel it... more

My wife and I spend 5 days in Silverton at The Wyman. Our experience couldn't have been better. The host and his staff were universally and consistently helpful and friendly, far in excess of expectations. The hotel historic building itself has a few quirks but that's part of the charm. We will definitely return to Silverton and The Wyman. more

The Wyman Hotel was just the most perfect place for our trip. The owner and his son was so personable and knowledgeable of the area. They truly knew how to cater to their guests. The wine and cheese in the afternoon set the tone for a romatic evening. the breakfasts served in the mornings was upscale and delicious. The decore... more

We stayed overnight on our train trip. Our stay was beyond what could be expected. Not only is the place beautiful, but the owner went overboard to make our stay one we will always remember., including personally picking us up and taking us back to the Train Station in his trolley. The room was very comfortable, with down bedding, the... more

My wife and I recently stayed at the Wyman and enjoyed every part of the stay. The room was great, the wine and cheese in the evenings was very special, the conversations with the owner and his son about the hotel was very interesting and the breakfast each morning was better than most gourmet restaurants. We will be back to... more

For our 15th Wedding Anniversary we wanted something extraordinary and we found it at The Wyman at their Candlelight Caboose - a refurbished train caboose converted into a hotel room. But also, when we go back - and we will - we look forward to staying in one of the amazingly furnished rooms there. They are gorgeous in authentic Victorian... more
