Did the sleigh ride dinner; the ride to the ranch house was nice, the food was very good, but the program was lacking. There was no music during dinner, and the program consisted of 2 cowboys teaching children how to lasso a fake bull. It would have been nice if there were cowboy stories or at least an overview of... more

We took our grandkids on the cattle drive at Saddleback Ranch. We have a family tradition of taking them on a horseback ride every summer, and this was by far the best experience we've had. We spent the first two hours rounding up yearlings and the last two hours driving them to another pasture. The herd was spooked by a... more

We had 6 people in our party, 4 adults and 2 children. We did the 2 hour photo ride. We had an absolute blast. Our horses were so funny. It had been a while since 3 of us had been on a horse and the other 3 had never ridden (my mom 52, child 9 and child 6). They were... more

I went on their 2 hour photo opportunity ride. It was very beautiful. Lou, one of the owners was our guide and she selected 2 wonderful horses for us. While the trip was "guided" we were able to ride ahead if we wanted to. Beautiful countryside, very much a family atmosphere. more

Saddleback Ranch was absolutly amazing! I went with my family and and another family and we had the time of our life. We have two teenagers and they had a ball. It was the highlight of their trip. The sleigh ride was very nice and it wasn't to long, so you didnt get very cold. It had very friendly cowboys... more

We didn't stay at the ranch but did partake in the Cattle Drive. The cattle herding adventure was boring. It took 4 hours, we never got out of a slow walk on the horse, and never got to actually drive any cattle. Would not recommend this adventure. The ranch itself is quite nice and the people that work there are... more

A real old fashioned sleigh ride with Percheron type horses, cattle dogs, cowboys driving the sleighs, moonlit trails through the snowy hills to a little ranch. The ride was about 20-30 min. which was about the right length for the cold and kids. Ranch was cozy, food was ample and my steak was fine, my wife's pork was overcooked. Sides... more
