I was very pleased with the professionalism and thoroughness of the Operations Manager of Hotel Bristol with helping me plan and execute a memorable honeymoon stay for my daughter and new son-in-law . I requested several "extras" to have available in the room upon their arrival to the hotel. Living far away and having to communicate by phone and email... more

The Hotel Bristol is in a great location but that's about the only good thing I can say about it. The staff was rude and inconsistent with their check-in and check-out procedures. I came up for the weekend for a wedding and 3 other couples from Denver traveled up for the weekend as well. We had a total of 4... more

They made a "special exception" for us to check in at 9pm, as they usually close at 8. This seemed odd as anyone driving from Denver to Steamboat on a Friday would find it difficult to get up there before 9pm after work. The room was small. Thats ok though as we were not planning on spending lots of time... more

The town and the hotel reminded me of a little European village. I would not recommend the hotel for families, but it's absolutely great for one or two people. I stayed with my husband last week, it was perfect: clean, quiet, and cozy. The staff here was also THE nicest staff I have ever experienced. They made our stay just... more

My ski buddy and I booked a week at the Bristol in February and were so very glad we decided to stay in town instead of near the slopes. The amazing Steamboat ski shuttle bus stops a few yards from the hotel every 10 minutes, so a car is completely unnecessary. Downtown Steamboat is cute and lively.....lots of good restaurants,... more

We decided at the last moment to head to Steamboat for a family vacation between Christmas and New Years. A call to Steamboat Central Reservations got us the suggestion of the Hotel Bristol, the price was OK, the reviews were reasonable, so we took it. Big mistake, at least for us. If you're the ones who party till late, and... more

We booked the Bristol because of the very good TripAdvisor reviews and location in the center of town. The location is very good, close to everything, but the hotel itself is only fair. The rooms are very small, the hallway even smaller. The rooms look over a parking lot, or the next building. The place is clean and neat, but... more

A fine choice, if you don't mind older hotels. While there is no elevator and the room was quite small, it was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and I liked the convenience of being right in the heart of "downtown" Steamboat. The staff person was very helpful, and provided good directions on how to find the hot springs (check... more

Booked through Expedia after reading TA reviews regarding small rooms. Expedia offered 2 rooms connected by a bathroom in the middle for about $170 per night. I figured that my husband and I could use the spare room to spread out our luggage. When we arrived at the Bristol, found out that this type of room did not exist so... more

This was my second stay at the Hotel Bristol this summer-- first time was with the hubby, this time was with a girlfriend-- and both visits were terrific. The location is perfect-- a short walk to all the great shops and restaurants downtown. In addition to the location, things we loved about this hotel were the friendly, helpful staff, the... more
