My husband and I stayed at Telluride Lodge this spring while in Telluride and had a great experience. The front desk was super helpful when our bags got stuck in Denver and were great at recommending restaurants around town. The room was affordable, clean and close to the mountain. Not a real hotel but rather a condo complex, Telluride Lodge is right in town, and within easy walking distance of the main street, the ski lift, the gondola, etc. It consists of four rows of condos set in a pleasant green space with trees, picnic tables, and gas barbecue grills.
