For our one night stopover in Trinidad, this motel was perfect. Room was clean, with some homemade western style furniture, and the bathroom was recently remodeled. It was much nicer than other places we have stayed in Trinidad, and the staff was very friendly. And, a great bargain at $49! more

This is an older (and older -style) property on the non-interstate side of town (I did not feel unsafe though). We needed a place to stay while traveling through Colorado during the Fourth of July weekend and of course, most hotels in Trinidad were booked. We have stayed at this motel once or twice a year for the last 9 years, and the experience has been consistant. When we are in Trinidad we are on the go and just want a clean place to sleep and change - and not spend a lot of money doing so. Jim Clark's Trails End Motel is the answer... more
