My wife and I had a few days to spend in central Colorado following a trip to Colorado Springs for a wedding, and we remembered the Twin Lakes area from a trip we took nearly 20 years ago. We remembered the seclusion of the area, the mountain beauty, and wanted to find someplace to stay to take advantage of both. An internet search revealed this place, actually a private home, with the bottom floor a suite, rented out by the Calhouns, who own the home. We discovered on arrival that we were only their 2nd customers. The view from the sun porch, where we spent a significant amount of time, was tremendous, as we watched beautiful sunsets both nights. The bedroom was comfortable, the bathroom was small but nice, and a little living room was nice, too, but we didn't really use it. The kitchen was comfortable, too, with a little table for two for dining.
